How SiteWORX Prioritizes Safety on the Construction Site

At SiteWORX, safety is our top priority.

Not only are safe workers healthy workers, but when your site is safe and organized, jobs get done more quickly and efficiently too.

Here is a quote from our foreman that sums up the SiteWORX attitude:

“Safety is an attitude, a practice, a state of mind, a way of life, an acceptance of your responsibility and personal accountability to your employer, yourself, and every one your action may impact.”

In this post, we will take a deeper dive into how SiteWORX focuses on safety on the construction site every day and the difference a safety-oriented approach makes.

On-Site Safety Works!

There is no doubt about it, on a construction site, safety works!

3rd Party Jobsite Safety Inspections

An extra pair of eyes never hurt anyone! While our guys are top of their field when it comes to safety, we make sure they don't miss a thing by calling in a job site safety inspection professional.

Toolbox Talks

Every worker, no matter their role, should be familiar with the tools found in their toolbox and elsewhere around the site. That’s why we take some time for a senior worker to go over the basics and make sure everyone knows how to use their tools safely and effectively.

New Hire Safety Training

Every new hire must know the basics about on-site safety. We take our new hires through extensive training to ensure that the first time they step on-site they already know what to expect and how to do their jobs safely.

Annual Safety Training

Safety training for new hires isn’t enough. Every SiteWORX employee is required to go through yearly training to ensure that they know everything there is to know about on-site safety.

OSHA10 Training

OSHA 10-hour training teaches basic safety and health information to entry-level workers in construction and general industry. It is part of the OSHA Outreach Training Program, which explains serious workplace hazards, workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file an OSHA complaint.

This ensures that there are no gaps in SiteWORX’s safety knowledge and we are always up to date on the latest standards.

CPR Training

Safety goes far beyond knowing how to use tools and store chemicals. We ensure that all our workers are CPR certified so if a medical emergency should happen on-site, our guys are prepared and ready to help.

Crew Specific Training

No two crews have the same jobs. Some crews need specific safety training to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely and effectively.

SiteWORX Helps Keep Our Sites Safe

There is nothing more important than on-site safety. That is why SiteWORX goes the extra mile to ensure that all our workers have the safety training they need to get the job done safely and efficiently.
