As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at SiteWORX, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the fleet that powers our projects. From preventative maintenance to troubleshooting and repairs, you’ll help ensure our equipment stays jobsite-ready and operating at peak performance.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail. We’re looking for mechanics who take pride in their work, value safety, and understand the importance of minimizing downtime in a fast-paced construction environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Promote and maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery

  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on construction equipment

  • Inspect equipment for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues

  • Complete repairs efficiently to minimize downtime and keep crews operational

  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

  • Work closely with operators and supervisors to identify equipment concerns and prioritize repairs

  • Assist with field service repairs and emergency breakdown response when needed

  • Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained and organized

What We’re Looking For


We’re seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanics who excel in a demanding construction environment and take pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. This role involves maintaining and repairing a fleet of late-model Caterpillar, John Deere, and Komatsu equipment used across large-scale site development projects.

Experience working on excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, articulated trucks, compactors, skid steers, motor graders, and other heavy construction equipment is highly valued. Successful candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical systems, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.
